Enjoy a leisurely day cycling through the picturesque Vietnamese countryside, away from city traffic, motorbikes, and noise. Along the way, you will cross the islands of the Song Thu river delta using local transportation such as ferries and floating bridges.
This journey offers a unique glimpse into rural life: discover how wooden riverboats are built, learn the craft of weaving colorful Hoi An sleeping mats, try your hand at paddling a traditional basket boat, and more. You’ll experience genuine encounters with local residents, far from the typical tourist paths.
At midday, you’ll be welcomed into the home of a local family to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese meal while learning about their customs and way of life. After some time relaxing under the shade of a mango tree, you’ll return to Hoi An on a peaceful 35-minute boat ride.
