DAY 1My Son Sanctuary Discovery – Full-Day Cycling

The My Son Sanctuary is a famous destination nestled in a stunning natural setting at the foot of the Cat Tooth Mountains. Our journey goes beyond visiting the temples, taking you on a 30km ride along peaceful country roads, with stops to visit local families and learn about their traditions. Along the way, you’ll explore an authentic weaving village that still uses colonial-era looms and stop by a small local market to experience rural life. This unique tour promises unforgettable moments and authentic cultural encounters.

Your day begins at 07:30 at our office on 61 Ngo Quyen Street. Our staff will help you choose the right bicycle and make the necessary adjustments for a comfortable ride. From here, a minibus will transfer you for about one hour to the My Son Sanctuary.

Arriving in My Son around 08:30, you will explore the ancient Cham temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled in the lush valley at the foot of the Cat Tooth Mountains. Starting early allows you to enjoy the site in a quieter atmosphere and in the pleasant morning weather. Your guide will share the history, architecture, and legends of this sacred place.

After the visit, we continue our cycling journey through peaceful countryside roads with very little traffic. Along the way, you will visit a local family in their traditional wooden house, stop by a weaving village to see age-old looms still in use, and experience the lively atmosphere of a rural market.

Around midday, we pause for a rustic lunch at a local eatery where you can enjoy authentic countryside flavors. In the afternoon, the journey continues until we reach the Thu Bon River. From here, a one-hour boat ride will bring you back to Hoi An, ending just a short walk from our office.
